Custom Glass Piece with your Sand
Due to issues regarding studio access and COVID restrictions, I am temporarily closing new orders for sand pieces. I will reopen the listing when I am able to take more orders. Sorry for any inconvenience.
All items are handmade and are made on a first come, first serve basis. Because all of my pieces are handmade, they might vary slightly in size and shape. Be sure to send your sand to me as quickly as possible so I can get started. To check the status of your order, click here. Turn your sand into a beautiful piece of blown glass art! Sand from your honeymoon, family vacations, old beach homes, or anywhere else can be made into a variety of pieces to help keep your memories alive.
**I am unable to use ashes at this time because I work in a communal studio and would like to remain respectful of everyone
Choose from any of the pieces in the drop down menu below. Pumpkins, flowers, and ornaments will have the sand on the outside (which will give it a rough texture, see photo #3). Any drink ware and paperweights will have the sand twisted with the colors inside of the piece before covered in a smooth, clear layer of glass.
Color samples are shown in photos #4 and 5. If you are choosing to add color to your piece, please indicate which colors you would like in the textbox. FORM WILL POP UP AFTER YOU ADD ITEM TO CART! You may choose 1-2 colors (plus 1 for pumpkin stems; usually black, clear, green, or white). Clear pumpkins also get to choose a stem color.
Please send me about 3 tablespoons of sand for each item (6 tbs. for matching glasses). A small sealable container or plastic bag will be fine. Any sand that is not used will be returned to you with the finished piece. Please also write your order number somewhere on the package or container of sand.

** WINE GLASS ORDERS **
All wine glasses are stemless.
If you would like to have a relatively matching set of 2 wine glasses, please choose the “matching” options. If you don’t mind that the glasses could look completely different and would like to take the first 2 that are made, then feel free to choose 2 of the “single” options and save a few bucks.
The extra cost of making a matching set is because I often have to make 3-4 glasses to find 2 that are similar enough to be a set. The others are destroyed and not sold to anyone else!
MATCHING SETS WILL NOT BE A PERECT MATCH!! Because each piece is handmade, each piece will vary slightly. I make extra glasses so that I can pick the 2 that match the best.
GLASSWARE IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE!! The dramatic change in heat during a dishwashing cycle will cause the glass to crack. Please hand wash all handmade glassware.
