Pickle Glass Ornament
Handmade glass ornament made by yours truly.
Decorate your tree this year with a handmade pickle ornament! According to German tradition, the first person to find the pickle on the tree on Christmas morning would receive an extra present from Santa Claus or would be said to have a year of good fortune.
These ornaments are made with Emerald Green and Olive Green frit, then lightly rolled in a small Black frit along the ridges. Choose your preferred size from the dropdown menu.
As always, handmade items may vary slightly in size, shape, color, etc. All sizes listed below are measured in diameter and are approximate. See photo #3 for reference. Because mica is a natural material, some of the excess may rub off of the ornament over time.
Small - 2.5”
Medium - 3”
Large - 3.5”
XLarge - 4”
Due to COVID-19 and restricted studio time, there are a limited amount of holiday pieces this year. This means that I will be unable to replace any items that arrive damaged if it’s sold out. You can either choose another color as a replacement or receive a refund for the damaged one. Sorry for the inconvenience!
